assist a potential student by determining their background and educational levels and advising or  directing the student into making the best
choices for his or her career education.  Counselors should have a knowledge of the low voltage industry and it's trends, potential job
descriptions for industry graduates, and a background in the educational or industry directly related to these positions. Compensation is

Southeast Applications Engineer/ Project Manager
My client is a Florida based security integration, design and engineering firm specializing in Federal Government/DOD systems integration is
seeking an Applications Engineer/project Manager for a contract position.

You will need to be well versed and a self starter in the following principles: Program Logic controllers (PLC), Ladder logic and integration of access control systems such as Lenel,
AMAG, IP video and VMS systems, VOIP intercom systems, wireless connectivity along with mass enrollment visitor management systems. You will be assisting our current
engineering staff and senior management with a nationwide rollout of the complete system to the US Government. You should be familiar with FEDGOV standards and testing
procedures assist in developing and implementing training manuals and policies. You will need to be able to successfully pass a back ground check or currently hold an existing
security clearance would be a plus. You will need to be proficient in MS office, excel, project and CAD along with the necessary certifications needed to complete the project.

Essential Job Functions:
•        Dealer relations – Direct, daily management of relationships with all dealer/affiliates.   
•        Operations – Monitors all MCM systems and follows SOPs. Primary contact in all emergencies. Opens emergency bridge and notifies key personnel as
required.
•        Evaluations – Provides input for employee evaluations.
•        Quality – Manages and maintains shift report and collects appropriate data.
•        Training – Coordinate with Training Specialist to insure new employees are using SOPS and other directives. Enforce company policy on telephone
etiquette. Completes training evaluation.
•        Schedule - Direct responsibility for organizing employee schedules and enforcement of all related company policies. Provides replacements for other
shifts, as required.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
•        Understands and demonstrates effective communication skills (written and verbal).
•        Ability to effectively perform in a potentially fast paced environment within specific procedural guidelines.
•        Possess ability to accurately converse and collect data over the telephone in a courteous and customer service oriented fashion.
•        Ability to handle and resolve challenging customer situations.
•        Demonstrates superior operational alarm and call handling techniques  
•        Responsible for effectively and accurately responding to alarm and trouble signals using Standard Operating Procedures.
•        Receives and responds to inquires via telephone, mail, fax, and e-mail.
•        Researches problem areas and documents processes used to correct issues. Recognizes consistent problem areas and reports to supervisor/manager.
•        Must demonstrate the ability to interact with peers, management, and other departments in a professional manner.
•        Requires ability to navigate a computerized data entry system or other relevant applications.
•        A High School diploma or GED AND a minimum of 2 years experience in alarm monitoring.
•        Must have understanding of English language and grammar, as well as good written communication skills.
•        Demonstrate computer skills in a Windows PC environment including (receivers, servers and telephony).
